Ethan Fox is a UK-based author of anime-themed urban fantasy & speculative fiction.

Born in England during the cracks between Generation X and Y, Ethan writes fictional works that draw on his own experiences, having lived in a variety of countries and worked in a range of professions.

A common theme in his books include escapist adventure, usually tied to a modern, more believable situation to help provide grounding. Ethan is drawn to exciting, large-scale duels and compelling mysteries, often with a folklore backing.

Ethan also writes the occasional non-fictional work; usually related to the practices of being a self-published author in the modern media climate.

Today, he lives in the south-east of England, where he works as a product designer whilst writing in his spare time, between attending events to meet readers and other authors.

In addition to writing, Ethan is a longtime fan of anime, snowboarding, general geekery and aviator sunglasses.
